Research interests

I’m focused on study of structural genomics of wheat, construction of chromosome specific physical maps of wheat, positional cloning of important genes and their functional characterization. Additionally, I’m interested in molecular characterization of cereal pathogens and study of their interactions with host. As a side projects, I’m interested in mapping of agronomical traits in related species and their use in wheat improvement.
